GB EU plates end after Brexit’s transition period: fitting GB EU flag plates is prohibited from 1st January 2021. UK vehicles must also show a GB oval when travelling overseas.

The minimum size for a two-letter national identifier is: 175mm w x 115m high. The letters must be at least 80mm tall with a stroke width of 10mm. It must be elliptical and horizontal and black on white.
