Channel 4's Great British Car Journeys

My name is Winifred, I?m a Researcher at the independent television production company Tern TV. We are working on the second series of Channel 4?s Great British Car Journeys.

Following the success of their first adventures along some of the country?s most iconic roads, we re-join one of the nation?s most loved television double acts - Peter Davison and Christopher Timothy - as they jump back behind the wheel of their trusty Morgan 4/4 and set out in search of more Great British Car Journeys. With a friendship forged during 90 episodes of beloved television series All Creatures Great and Small, the much loved actors are taking to the road in 4 brand new episodes.

One of the journeys I am currently researching is in North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales. We are thinking about dedicating part of the episode to All Creatures Great and Small, getting Peter and Christopher to revisit the locations they filmed in. We would like to recreate the title sequence and their opening scene, with Peter and Christopher driving an Austin Seven and a 1933 Austin 12/4. (see images below for the original cars used- unfortunately neither work anymore) In an ideal world it would be great to find Austin?s in the same colours as the ones below but are open to any colour that are this type. We are looking at filming in the locations of All Creatures Great and Small in the Yorkshire Dales. We haven?t the exact dates for filming but it will be throughout August. I wondered if any of your members are owners of the cars below, and if so would they be happy for us to borrow them for Peter and Christopher to drive a short distance in?
