The DVLA have announced some changes with regard to some historic and classic vehicle registrations. The new guidance, comes into effect on August 26th 2025 and is said to reflect modern restoration methods and simplify the registration process. It's being updated to provide greater clarity for owners and restorers whilst ensuring safety, and accurate records are kept.
